Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was breathtaking with lovely views across the bay of Table Mountain and free covered parking, but the room's representation was not entirely accurate, lacking air conditioning in the middle of summer.
Upon arriving at Lagoon Beach, the room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary kitchen facilities, though the view was just adequate for a classic apartment. Unfortunately, the built-in cupboards had broken doors, the carpets were dirty, and only two towels were provided, which was a letdown. The service staff stood out for being really good and patient with the kids, although there were issues with unfriendliness and unhelpfulness. The location was exceptional, offering a fabulous view of Cape Town and Table Mountain, plus a lovely beach right at hand. On the downside, the other aspects were incredibly disappointing. As for dining, the options were average with dry and unappetizing scrambled eggs, but at least there were some choices available.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though exceptional with breathtaking views during breakfast, suffered from a lack of cleanliness and maintenance. The service, while professional and kind, failed on the details like providing shower caps. The location offered amazing views but lacked maintenance in basic elements. Dining options were good but lacked variety, and facilities were decent overall.
The hotel had clean and spacious rooms, although it lacked towels and toiletries. The location was right on the beach, perfect for unwinding and family holidays. The service was generally good, with very helpful staff, although the spa staff was unfriendly.
I absolutely loved the hotel's proximity to the beach and the very friendly and helpful staff. However, the noise from the parking area disrupted my sleep early in the morning. The rooms were simple but clean and cozy, lacking towels and toiletries. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel was very crowded but the room I had provided only a partial mountain view. The staff were friendly, but there was a sense of inconvenience from some service members. The location was pretty central to everything we wanted to do, despite needing some training. The dining was consistent but wonderful with close proximity to the beach.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were spacious and the bed was so comfortable that I felt like staying in bed all day. However, I did find a condom wrapper under the bed, which was a bit unsettling. The hotel wasn't fully set up for my arrival, which was a minor inconvenience, but overall, the beachfront location was amazing.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely, clean, and spacious, although the WiFi didn't work, and some areas could use a refresh, especially the bathrooms. The service was friendly and very helpful. The location was great, very close to the ocean with fantastic views of Table Mountain. The dining experience was mixed. The facilities were satisfactory.
My stay at the hotel was decent. The rooms were comfortable, but unfortunately, the carpets were old and marked. The lack of electricity during load shedding was a hassle, prompting a room change. The location at the back of the hotel didn't offer good views, which was disappointing.
The hotel offers well-appointed rooms with enormous and comfortable beds, providing a balcony with stunning views over Cape Town and Table Mountain. Despite some hiccups, my stay was filled with breathtaking day and night scenery.
The hotel offers very spacious rooms; the bed was so comfortable that I wanted to sleep all the time, LOL. The breakfast was the best with fresh croissants, which made my mornings perfect. However, there were some issues with the housekeeping staff at times. Overall, a nice stay with great breakfast and comfy rooms.
My stay at the hotel was delightful overall. The rooms were amazing as always, but it was a bummer not having a patio for some chill time outdoors. The location was nice, although it turned out to be chillier than other places. The service was top-notch, especially from the restaurant staff. However, there were a few slip-ups on small things like not replacing washing cloths. The dining experience was always a highlight, but there were some issues with vegetarian options. The hotel facilities were great overall.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were not up to the standard we expected, they were surprisingly soundproof, allowing for a peaceful sleep despite the noisy car park nearby. Unfortunately, we didn't get the promised sea or mountain view, which was a letdown. The service had its ups and downs - one waiter was a disaster, but the rest of the staff were quick to resolve issues and make us comfortable. The location was fabulous, right on a beautiful sandy beach, although it could get crowded at times with visiting groups. As for the dining experience, it was hit and miss with room for improvement. Overall, there were some positives and negatives to consider during my stay.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. The service was top-notch, with a wonderful staff that catered to all my needs. The location was fantastic, offering breathtaking views of Table Mountain and easy access to the beauty of Cape Town. The dining experience was marvelous, although with some minor room for improvement. The facilities were great, making my stay truly enjoyable.
The hotel had cleanliness and maintenance issues in the rooms, but they were comfortable and nice overall. The location was a plus for beach access, despite lacking maintenance in some areas. The dining experience was good, with a large choice, though timing could be improved. The service was informative and helpful but had some communication challenges.
